Meredith Ellen Wood Ingram, age 80, of Colfax, WI, passed away on October 31, 2018. Meredith was born in Green Bay, WI on June 21, 1938 to John and Mabel (Sheldon) Wood.
Meredith was a Kindergarten teacher and spent most of her career teaching in the Green Bay Public Schools. She was known for her advocacy for the welfare of children and for her leadership in Green Bay Education Association and Wisconsin Education Association Council. After retiring, she spent her time enjoying her family, friends, and creative pursuits. Meredith supported the arts in her community. She was known for her passion for learning and for embracing new experiences. Her curiosity, joy for life, and capacity for love were some of her finest qualities.
Meredith is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Bob) Middendorf and her children Michaela and Bradley Walker, Olathe, KS; her son, Bradley Ingram, and his children Kristine and Zachary Ingram, Wheeler, WI; her brother, Perry (Barbara) Wood, Mankato, MN; and her cherished friends.
Meredith will be interred next to her parents at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay. Her life will be celebrated privately by her family. Please remember her in your own heart the way you knew her best.
Inurnment of cremains will take place in Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay, WI at a later date.
